This is an introductory video to the concept of a Forex System. A Forex System is a set of rules to which you can approach trading the Forex markets instead of guessing, instead of getting sucked into the marketplace and getting emotional panicking, while missing various entries and exits. Yes, its true that a Forex System can be designed to approach trading in the Forex markets that will put you in the probability position of winning a good percentage of the time. You may not win every time, but that doesn’t even matter, because some of the best or actually one of the best trading systems of all times used mostly in futures trading was called the turtle trading system and they supposedly won only forty percent of the time. And that trading system made so many people, so many millions of dollars over and over that it didn’t even matter how much winning percentage there was. What mattered was the netting out of profits and in this case for Forex Trading, a similar approach can be taken.
Now, I am not talking about using the exact same system, although that system has its merits and maybe a little too many people trade that system these days. But there are approaches - simple approaches that can profit, net profit from Forex Trading and this is figured out mostly by and through price charts. There are events on a price chart that can show you where to get in and get out of a Forex pair. This is important, because you need to know exactly where to get in, where to put a stop loss and where to get out to take your profit. Now, how you determine “what's a good trading plan”? A good trading plan is one that on paper looks like it can net out then you need to be able to take that and back test that.
